IN THIS PHASE OF HIRING, WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR PHOTO BOOTH GENIUSES WHO CAN:

  • PICK UP BOOTHS WITH THEIR OWN VEHICLE

  • SET UP, WORK, AND TEAR DOWN OUR BIRDIE BOOTHS

  • BE AVAILABLE ALL DAY SATURDAYS (at least 2 Saturdays per month)


BOOTH GENIUS

DESCRIPTION:

  • Pick booth, backdrop, equipment up from storage

  • Deliver equipment to venue in your own vehicle

  • Set up booth, backdrop, electronic components

  • Return to operate the booth for allotted time

  • Tear down booth, backdrop, electronic components

  • Return booth to storage

MUST:

  • BE AVAILABLE ALL DAY SATURDAY (at least 2 Saturdays per month) (APRIL-JULY & SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER)

  • Have photography experience

  • Have experience with Windows PCs

  • Be PUNCTUAL without exception

  • Have a valid driver’s license

  • Be at least 21 years of age

  • Be able to lift 50 pounds

  • Stand for long periods

  • Have a reliable van, large car, full size or compact SUV

  • Have a RIGOROUS attention to detail

  • LOVE to be the life of the party

  • Be able to tolerate a loud environment

  • Be able to navigate a party crowd with a fun attitude (i.e. roll with the punches but keep anyone from punching anything : )

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Previous event experience

THE IDEAL BOOTH GENIUS IS SOMEONE WHO:

Is efficient - we normally allot one to one and a half hours for set up of one booth. This will be early in the day, before the event begins most times but on days with multiple set ups, getting set up EFFICIENTLY - having an ordered system - is key.

Is tolerant - The Birdie Booths are set up at weddings, public events, and all kinds of parties where people are doing just that - partying! If you can’t tolerate drunk behavior (within reason - we don’t stand for aggressiveness) this isn’t for you. The booths are also a favorite of children at events. If you do not enjoy helping little Sally pick out props and snap pics - better look elsewhere.

Is attentive - People hire us for our attention to detail. Keeping props in order, knowing when guests will be wanting more than one copy of a photo, helping kids arrange themselves so they all fit in the picture. The guest experience for Lamphouse Photo Co. clients is KEY to our success. Someone is always watching and we are always on our ‘A++’ game.

COMPENSATION:

$25/hour (5 hour minimum per event)

Mileage (.54¢/mile)

Time & a half on government holidays
